Caseworker Part-Time or On-Call

There is an immediate opening for a part time or on-call caseworker in its Community Based Services program. This position provides concrete outreach and advocacy services to developmentally disabled parents, mental health clients and/or their children: provides supportive case management, mentoring and guidance to children, and assists parents/children in developing their social support system. Requirements include: BA in Human Services or Social Work, a minimum of 2 years related experience, clean and valid NYS driver’s license, ability to work with developmentally disabled and/or mental health clients, the ability to work flexible hours to accommodate client schedules; and the ability to relate to a culturally diverse population. Childcare Specialist - On Call

Critical Care Aide/Per Diem Sub

Day Care Specialist

Day Care Specialist is needed to provide therapeutic daycare and after-school program in a homeless shelter. Must have ability to work with and respect clients. Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 12pm (noon) to 8pm. Must rotate holidays. Requirements: HS Diploma; college preferred. Valid NYS Driver License required. EOE

Evening Reporting Center Program Counselors - Part Time and On Call

Anticipated hours are from 2pm-7pm for after school Evening Reporting Center program for boys and girls up to age 13. Position participates in activity planning, scheduling and implementation as well as assists children with educational activities including homework. Other duties include communication with case worker regarding specific needs and concerns related to children in care, timely completion of activity documentation as required, and transportation of children to their homes. Requirements are: HS diploma or GED equivalent, a valid NYS Driver License and the ability to meet agency driving criteria. Experience with target population preferred. EOE

Family Care Coordinator

The ARCH (Addiction Recovery Center for Hope) program is seeking a Family Care Coordinator in Albany, NY at the Marillac Family Shelter. Will provide intensive management & support services to homeless families as they transition from shelter and maintain self-sufficiency in the community. The Family Care Coordinators work with the case management team to support and facilitate families’ ability to participate in substance abuse and trauma services. Requirements include: BSW or BA in human services field w/ 3 yrs casework experience; AAS degree considered; Clean and valid NYS driver’s license; Ability to timely complete required documentation using the Agency’s software. Some Saturdays required. EOE

Licensed Master Social Worker

There are openings for Licensed Master Social Workers to work with children in grades K-6 with emotional and behavioral challenges in Special Education/Day Treatment School, Residence and Foster Boarding Home. The Social Worker is part of the treatment team, providing individual and group clinical treatment to the child and family, documenting the treatment process as required by the Agency and its regulating agencies, and providing court and county related documentation and testimony as required. The MSW may provide psychosocial diagnostic assessment to children as assigned. Hours may extend into the evenings to accommodate child and family schedules. Social Workers providing service at our R&E May School work the 12 month school calendar and participate in the school vacation and holiday schedule. Requirements include: LMSW/LCSW, and experience working with children in a mental health setting. CBT experience preferred. EOE

Registered Nurses - Full Time, Part Time, On Call Positions

Registered Nurses are needed to work with children, ages 5 to 13, who are emotionally challenged with a history of trauma. The nurses are needed to manage the physical and psychiatric needs of the children in the school and residential programs. The work week is from Monday through Friday. Residential/Foster Care Case Manager

Case Manager needed in Residential and Foster Home programs. Will provide case management to children with serious mental health and trauma-related emotional and behavioral issues. Must work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends. Requirements include: Bachelor’s Degree in a human service area, clean and valid N.Y.S. driver’s license, experience working with seriously emotionally disturbed children preferred. EOE

Respite Worker/Skillbuilder - Part Time

Provide respite and skill building to children in the community with emotional, behavioral, and/or developmental disabilities, located throughout the Capital District area. Responsibilities include weekly outings that promote and strengthen social skills, and follow-up client paperwork. Bachelor’s degree and a clean and valid NYS Driver’s License are required. Experience with similar population required. Hours: weekdays from 3pm – 7pm; weekend hours required. Flexible schedule, approx. 20 hours per week. EOE
