Leah serves as St. Catherine's Director of Marketing and Communications. She has more than 15 years of marketing, communications, external relations, business development and administration experience in higher education, non-profit, and government settings. Leah has worked at both public and private, small and large institutions and organizations in New York and Texas. She has also served on several non-profit boards and has extensive experience building brand equity through business development, partnership acquisitions, and technology commercialization, among others. She is well versed in human behavior, socio-economic and social welfare issues from working with underserved, disadvantaged, and international student populations.
Leah has additional experience in international relations and global diplomacy. She has studied Asian business models, economics, social welfare, and microfinance in the P.R. China; and worked on Latin American business initiatives in Houston and Mexico. She served as the inaugural Director of Global Initiatives at the University of Houston, where she lead efforts to transition the university to a global campus.
Leah is well versed in both Service and Thought Leadership philosophies. She is an agile and ethical leader with strategic focus able to expertly spearhead tactical implementation that creates an immediate and lasting impact.
